RAMS BEAT WORKINGTON
A last-minute drop goal by Michael Knowles gives the Rams a precious two points against bottom club Workington Town. On a bright but breezy Sunday afternoon at the Tetley’s Stadium it was crunch time for two of the Championship’s strugglers as they faced off in a game where both sides will have had their eyes on two points. GREENWOOD’S THOUGHTS AHEAD OF WORKINGTON
Head Coach Lee Greenwood has given his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s Betfred Championship clash against Workington Town. Reflecting on our recent defeat against Batley, Greenwood said “I thought we were very good for our eight-point lead with fifty minutes gone, but the sin-binning totally changed the game. Thirteen versus thirteen I think we’d have had a very good chance of getting something from the game, but once again a yellow card, that the disciplinary panel haven’t even given a caution for has cost us. That might sound like an excuse, but this is the third time it’s happened to us […]

GREENWOOD’S THOUGHTS AHEAD OF LONDON
Head Coach Lee Greenwood has given his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s Betfred Championship clash in the capital against London Broncos. Reflecting on the late victory on Sunday against Workington Town, Greenwood said, “Obviously the main positive from the game was getting the win, but we definitely need to improve and we need to add that cutting edge to our game. We need to create more and get more points on the board, we let Workington back into the game because we didn’t get enough points with all that first half pressure, but overall I thought we deserved to win” On […]
