
Beckett returns to Rams on loan
Dewsbury Rams has completed the loan signing of Featherstone Rovers prop forward Jimmy Beckett. Beckett joins the Rams for an initial two-week period, after having played for the club on a similar basis earlier this season. The 21-year-old was previously on the books at Castleford Tigers and played his junior rugby for Featherstone Lions. He joined Rovers ahead of the 2019 season. Beckett will come in to contention for selection in Rams boss Lee Greenwood’s 21-man squad for Sunday’s trip to face Oldham at Bower Fold, Stalybridge. Tickets for the match can be purchased online. Dom previously played for the club over two spells and was a popular player with supporters. The club can confirm that their is no allocation for either home or away support. Greenwood reviews Toulouse defeat
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood has given his thoughts following the defeat to Toulouse. The Rams lost 12-56 on a difficult afternoon for the home side. On the performance and result Greenwood said: “The scoreline was what everyone expected I suppose. Rearranged Batley home game date announced
The new date for the Batley home game has now been set. The original date for the fixture was 23 May, but this was postponed to enable as many supporters to be in attendance as possible. The new date for the game is Thursday 15 July with a 7:30pm kick off. Ticket information will be released in the coming weeks.
