The league groups & fixture structure in the National Conference League this season have been designed to make Covid protocols easier to facilitate. A byproduct of the new structure is that we seem to have a tasty local derby fixture every weekend. It also emphasises how strong open age community Rugby League is in the town of Dewsbury. Dewsbury Rams can announce that prop Dan Hawksworth has signed for the club. Hawksworth has lots of Betfred League 1 experience having previously played for Keighley Cougars and Hunslet. Rams vs Toulouse going ahead
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that the game against Toulouse this weekend is definitely going ahead at 15:00pm KO as scheduled. The Club has explored an option of changing the KO time by a few hours, however this was not possible due to away club travel arrangements. We are looking forward to having fans back at Tetley’s Stadium this Sunday to cheer the lads on. Match day tickets can be purchased online HERE. Or visit the club shop on Wednesday 9th June or Friday 11th June 10am-2pm.
MATCH REPORT Rams 12-56 Toulouse
Dewsbury Rams were defeated by Toulouse at the Tetley’s Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The full time French outfit were just too strong for the Rams in what was still a battling performance by the home side. The first try of the game came on the 5th minute when Mathiue Jussaume crossed the line. Mark Kheirallah missed his first conversion attempt. The score stood at 4-0 to the visitors.
