Looking Back Rugby League project “Dewsbury Heroes” is awarded National Lottery Heritage Fund support. Today, Looking Back CIC received a grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund of £95900, for an exciting project, Dewsbury Heroes. The project, developed in conjunction with Dewsbury Rams, focuses on the history of Dewsbury Rams Rugby League club from its origins to the present day. DEFEAT IN LONDON FOR RAMS
Broncos pick up their first league victory of the season in a difficult day for the Rams in South West London. Following on from last week’s late victory against Workington, the Rams were looking to pick up back-to-back victories for the first time this season against winless London Broncos on a chilly Spring afternoon at the Cherry Red Records Stadium. The game didn’t start well for the Rams, three converted tries for the Broncos within the first fifteen minutes of the game certainly dented any hopes of securing that second victory in a row. GREENWOOD’S THOUGHTS AHEAD OF LONDON
Head Coach Lee Greenwood has given his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s Betfred Championship clash in the capital against London Broncos. Reflecting on the late victory on Sunday against Workington Town, Greenwood said, “Obviously the main positive from the game was getting the win, but we definitely need to improve and we need to add that cutting edge to our game. We need to create more and get more points on the board, we let Workington back into the game because we didn’t get enough points with all that first half pressure, but overall I thought we deserved to win” On […]

Head Coach Lee Greenwood has announced his 21-man squad for Sunday’s clash against London Broncos. A NIGHT IN THE FRONT ROW – POSTPONED
Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances “A Night In The Front Row” which was due to take place on Friday 6th May has been postponed until later on in the year. A new date for the event will be announced in due course.

MATCH DAY BAR STAFF
Here at Dewsbury Rams we are looking to recruit enthusiastic, passionate and friendly staff. We are looking to take on several new members of bar staff to work on match days. Additional hours may also be available during other events that take place at the Tetley’s Stadium. Duties include; making a range of drinks, greeting customers and keeping the bar area clean and tidy. Applicants must have previous bar experience, be over 18, friendly, welcoming, well presented and self-motivated. Applicants must also be available to start this Sunday against Featherstone Rovers.
