WALKER HEADS OUT ON LOAN
Dewsbury Rams can today confirm that Jackson Walker has joined Cornwall RLFC on loan. The 21-year-old forward has joined Cornwall RLFC on an initial two-week loan deal. Walker joined the club from local amateur side Dewsbury Moor in November 2021 but has struggled with injuries so far this season. Rams Head Coach Lee Greenwood said, “Jackson has had some ankle issues which have kept him out of training for a while but he’s over them now.” We have been looking to get him some professional playing experience, so this opportunity is ideal. The club would like to provide some information on parking around the area if you’re travelling to a game at the Tetley’s Stadium. Dewsbury Rams have received a number of complaints from the residents of Amberwood Chase regarding the parking of supporters attending the stadium on matchday. The complaints range from parking on grass verges, right up to the obstructing of driveways and the club is now asking all supporters not to park on the estate. Dewsbury Rams are pleased to announce the loan signing of Samy Kibula from Bradford Bulls. The 22-year-old, six-foot-four forward joins the club on an initial two-week loan deal from Bradford and will be known to Rams fans from his loan spell with the club in 2019, where he made twelve appearances, scoring two tries. Dewsbury Rams are pleased to announce the loan signing of Aidan McGowan from Huddersfield Giants. A product of the Giants Academy, the young full back joins the club on a season-long loan deal from Huddersfield Giants, who have a re-call option if necessary. McGowan has had previous Betfred Championship experience with a loan spell at York City Knights during the 2021 season and has represented both England and Ireland at academy level.
