Dewsbury Rams can announce the new signing of winger Davey Dixon from the Keighley Cougars, The 22 year old winger has signed an initial one year deal with the Rams. Dixon who has left the Betfred League One side after two seasons played 50 times for the club scoring 16 times from his position on the wing. Dewsbury Rams announced new signing OJames Thornton recently and the Rams website caught up with the local lad as he explained why he wanted to join his hometown team. It was announced that Rams chairman Mark Sawyer will become a minor share holder in fellow Championship side Bradford Bulls. This is entirely within the RFL guidelines and will not effect his ownership of Dewsbury Rams and therefore there is no conflict of interest. Mark remains very much dedicated to the Rams and sees the part ownership of the Bulls as a positive move for the Rams going forward into 2020.
