We have today received further guidance from the RFL regarding the welcome return of spectators to our stadium. Further discussions will be held with Kirklees Council in light of this advice. Neither party has the full information to hand at the moment and are working with other Local Authorities to develop a common approach to this. The club should be able to issue an updated statement on Saturday regarding how we can welcome you to the game. Kirby joins Rams on loan
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that 22 year old Jon-Luke Kirby has joined us on a short term loan. Kirby currently plays for the Huddersfield Giants and can play in the prop/second row position. During the 2019 season, he spent a large spell with Hunslet in League One. He made 12 appearances for the Hawks before returning to Huddersfield. He made his Super League debut for the Giants in the all important win away at Hull FC in 2019.

Dewsbury Rams fullback Joe Martin says the team will be going out all guns blazing to get a win this weekend against Swinton. Martin who played last weekend was bitterly disappointed with the 36-0 home defeat to Halifax. On that game he said: “We just simply didn’t turn up, we started slow and we were out enthused by Halifax. “We didn’t put ourselves in the game at all.
