
Kirby joins Rams on loan
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that 22 year old Jon-Luke Kirby has joined us on a short term loan. Kirby currently plays for the Huddersfield Giants and can play in the prop/second row position. During the 2019 season, he spent a large spell with Hunslet in League One. He made 12 appearances for the Hawks before returning to Huddersfield. He made his Super League debut for the Giants in the all important win away at Hull FC in 2019.

Greenwood reviews Halifax defeat
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood spoke to the media following our defeat to Halifax. On the 36-0 loss, Greenwood said: “One of the most disappointing things is that we want to be difficult to beat here at home and over the last few weeks that’s not happened. “It’s an absolutely huge game next week against Swinton. Dewsbury Rams were defeated 0-36 by Halifax at the Tetley’s Stadium on Sunday evening. It was a bitterly disappointing defeat for Lee Greenwood’s men.

Return of Spectators to the Tetley’s Stadium
We have today received further guidance from the RFL regarding the welcome return of spectators to our stadium. Further discussions will be held with Kirklees Council in light of this advice. Neither party has the full information to hand at the moment and are working with other Local Authorities to develop a common approach to this. The club should be able to issue an updated statement on Saturday regarding how we can welcome you to the game. What we do know already is that our ground capacity is likely to be capped at less than 700 and we will have […]
