Dewsbury Rams were defeated by the Widnes Vikings by 22-8 on Sunday afternoon at the Tetley’s Stadium. Rob Worrincy scored both tries for the Rams on the day, but it was Widnes who were just too powerful for Dewsbury and eventually came out winners. That meant the club finished 12th in the division. Dewsbury Rams were defeated 22-8 in their final game of the Betfred Championship season, the Rams fought hard but just couldn’t keep the Vikings at bay. The game didn’t get going whilst the 20th minute and although both sides had opportunities to score neither of them took their chances when going close to the line.
