Head coach Lee Greenwood has given his thoughts ahead of Sunday’s game against Toulouse.

Rams vs Toulouse going ahead
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that the game against Toulouse this weekend is definitely going ahead at 15:00pm KO as scheduled. The Club has explored an option of changing the KO time by a few hours, however this was not possible due to away club travel arrangements. We are looking forward to having fans back at Tetley’s Stadium this Sunday to cheer the lads on. Match day tickets can be purchased online HERE. Or visit the club shop on Wednesday 9th June or Friday 11th June 10am-2pm.

A somewhat truncated weekend of local action but still plenty to discuss. The National Conference League continued with its post Covid revamped league structure. A Friday night thriller at Leeds Road saw Dewsbury Celtic come out on top 30-20 at local rivals Shaw Cross Sharks. The green & whites raced into an early 22-0 lead thanks to a brace of tries from Harry Copley plus a touchdowns from Mike Foulstone and Ben Yarrow. Greenwood reviews London defeat
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood was disappointed with the defeated against the London Broncos but has praised the teams effort. On the defeated, he said: “We are disappointed with the result I think personally the game was a lot tighter than that. “We conceded four tries on the last tackle where they just ran it in. That was down to tiredness or not concentrating. We can’t be weak mentally in those situations where we think the job is done on the last tackle. Its not done, we have to focus better. “We also didn’t take some of the key […]

Toulouse Match Detailed Update
Following our detailed discussions with Kirklees Council and time spent looking at how we can best operate under the current restrictions we are now in a position to be able to clarify most of the arrangements for the game against Toulouse Olympique on Sunday 13th June kick off 3pm. Our revised ground capacity is now 800. This means that we can accommodate all our supporters so no-one has to miss the chance to see the Rams in action live at the Tetley’s Stadium. Hawksworth signs for Rams
Dewsbury Rams can announce that prop Dan Hawksworth has signed for the club. Hawksworth has lots of Betfred League 1 experience having previously played for Keighley Cougars and Hunslet.
