An update on fundraising for a Jack Addy memorial
Dewsbury Rams has issued an update regarding fundraising for a sculpture in memory of Jack Addy. Jack passed away last week and is fondly remembered by the club for his loyalty and dedication in a range of on and off-field roles. A group of former players have grouped together to commission a sculptor to create a legacy piece that will be erected at The Tetley’s Stadium. The fundraising target is £6,500 and the club has launched a platform for supporters to make a contibution. Getting to know… Davey Dixon
Davey Dixon was a new addition to Lee Greenwood’s Rams squad ahead of the 2020 season. Arriving from Keighley, Dixon is a Scotland international and follows fellow winger Andy Gabriel in making the switch from Cougar Park. Rams launch new online shop
Dewsbury Rams is pleased to announce the launch of a new online shop hosted on the club’s official website. The new shop includes a range of items, including replica shirts and training gear, and accessories including ties, backpacks and baseball caps. Orders can be be placed and completed online, with items dispatched directly by the club. The online shop is a part of a new section of the website that will enable fans and members of the public to make bookings with the club, including pitches and function rooms. RFL announces postponement of Challenge Cup and 1895 Cup Finals
The RFL today confirms the postponement of the Coral Challenge Cup Final and AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final, which had been scheduled for July 18 at Wembley Stadium connected by EE. The intention remains for the Finals to be played later in the year – contingent on the public health situation and Government advice.
