RAMS TO HOST SCHOOLS TOURNAMENT
Dewsbury Rams are delighted to announce that we will be holding a tournament for local schools to celebrate the Rugby League World Cup. Taking place on Friday 15th July at the Tetley’s Stadium, we will be hosting an all-day tournament which will involve eight local schools battling it out for the trophy. The tag competition is for under 11 girls and aims to introduce young girls to the sport as well as raise awareness of the club within the community and the opportunities and facilities that are available. PANTHERS BEAT RAMS
Panthers run in seven tries to complete a league double over the Rams at the Tetley’s Stadium. The visit of Halifax Panthers to the Tetley’s Stadium saw the first outing of the Rams under the new management team of Liam Finn and Tony Smith, but things didn’t get off to a promising start when Matty Gee scored first for the visitors, which was converted by Joe Keyes. Parking There is ample parking at the Tetley’s Stadium, which is priced at £4. Supporters are kindly asked not to park on the Amberwood Chase estate, as the club have received several complaints from residents on this issue. FINN’S THOUGHTS AHEAD OF HALIFAX
Head Coach Liam Finn has given his thoughts ahead of Sunday’s Betfred Championship clash against Halifax. Reflecting on our last game against Bradford, Finn said “I thought the score line was very disappointing and harsh, but when things are going against you, they really do go against you.
