Dewsbury Rams new player Jon Magrin is eager to get going at the club after agreeing a one year deal. Howieson becomes Greenwood’s assistant
Dewsbury Rams can today confirm that Jack Howieson has become Lee Greenwood’s assistant head coach. The 38 year old has had a long and successful career. Having played for the Sheffield Eagles between 2001-2013 he played as a prop for the South Yorkshire side. Howieson also played in the 2008 World Cup for Scotland. He comes to the Rams bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience with him. Magrin joins Rams on One Year Deal
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that Jon Magrin has joined the club on a one year deal, the 6ft plus prop/loose forward has signed on the dotted line and is the latest player to join head coach Lee Greenwood’s 2020 squad. Magrin, 24 years old has previously played for London Broncos, London Skolars and the Bradford Bulls. Having played over 60 games for London Broncos, Magrin has plenty of experience at playing in the Betfred Super League and Championship. Morton leaves Rams
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that Dale Morton has left the club. Morton signed for the Rams in 2013 and was a constant ever-present in the side since then. He played over 200 games in a Rams shirt scoring over 75 tries. The 28 year old winger/fullback has signed for local rivals Batley Bulldogs. The club would like to wish Dale all the best for his future career and thank him for all that he has done at the Rams.

Dewsbury Rams recently announced fullback Joe Martin had re-signed for the club on a one year deal. The 24 year old arrived at the Tetley’s Stadium halfway through the 2019 campaign and immediately made the fullback position his own. Having put in a number of impressive performances, head coach Lee Greenwood and the club have rewarded him with a new deal. Dewsbury Rams can confirm that front rower Luke Nelmes has signed a new one year deal at the club. The 26 year old joined Dewsbury at the back end of last season. The former Halifax and Oldham player also helped out off the field, he played a key role in the success of the Rampage Camp that the club held. Having proved himself on and off the pitch, Lee Greenwood has rewarded Nelmes with a new contract.
