Dewsbury Rams can confirm that front rower Luke Nelmes has signed a new one year deal at the club.
The 26 year old joined Dewsbury at the back end of last season. The former Halifax and Oldham player also helped out off the field, he played a key role in the success of the Rampage Camp that the club held.
Having proved himself on and off the pitch, Lee Greenwood has rewarded Nelmes with a new contract. Nelmes will play a key role alongside Martyn Really in the club’s continued great community work going forward.
On Nelmes re-signing for the club, head coach Lee Greenwood said: “Luke joined us towards the end of the season and slotted in well. He has things to work on in pre-season which will help him him establish himself as a Championship regular.
“He is a skillful, smart and a good character to have around.”
