Dewsbury Rams assistant head coach Jack Howieson has settled into life at the Tetley’s Stadium nicely. The former player now turned coach is helping head coach Lee Greenwood achieve something special at the club. Dewsbury Rams rugby league club wish to inform customers and supporters that the stadium will be closed next week Monday 23rd March- Friday 27th March. All the customers on the all weather pitch have postponed their use (All linked to the Coronavirus); this is a substantial list of customers leaving us with not one single booking this next week. A number of bookings for the function rooms have also taken a similar decision therefore next week the stadium will be closed and staff will work from home in view of the fact that the Rams squad are not training. Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood was disappointed his side went out of the Challenge Cup on Sunday when they were defeated by Newcastle Thunder. Dewsbury Rams has always tried to pride itself on being a family club, and there are people who work within the Rams who have been here a long time. One such person is kit man Chris Hill who has put in over 36 years to the Rams and completed over 1000 games. That includes first team fixtures, reserve fixtures, under 19 games and many, many friendlies and cup matches.
