AB Sundecks 1895 Cup draw postponed The draw for Rounds One and Two of the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup, scheduled for Tuesday 17 March, has been temporarily postponed in light of the ongoing uncertainty resulting from the Covid-19 crisis. RFL officials have taken the decision in conjunction with the tournament partner, AB Sundecks, and further updates will be provided following consultation with Betfred Championship and League 1 clubs.

SEASON SUSPENDED UP UNTIL 3RD APRIL
The Rugby Football League and Super League Europe today announce a suspension of fixtures in the Betfred Super League season, initially until 3rd April, during which time the season’s structure and fixture rescheduling will be considered. This follows the latest Government advice regarding social contact and mass gatherings. The Super League clubs discussed a range of contingency plans with the RFL at their board meeting in Huddersfield, and the situation will be reviewed with broadcasters and sponsors throughout the initial suspension. Toulouse Game Postponed
Dewsbury Rams can announce that our home game against Toulouse has been postponed next Sunday. Toulouse have taken the decision to postpone their visit to the Rams until the situation regarding Covid 19 improves to such an extent that travel is considered safe with little risk of either contracting the disease or passing it on to others. The game will be rescheduled later on in this season.

Dewsbury Rams were knocked out of the fifth round of the Challenge Cup by North East side Newcastle Thunder. The loss brings to an end a good start to the season for the Rams where they managed to get four wins on the bounce. The game up at Newcastle started off badly for the away side when Kieran Gill scored a try in the 6th minute, Reece Dean was on kicking duty for Thunder and missed his first conversion making it 4-0. Dewsbury Rams were knocked out of the fifth round of the Challenge Cup when they lost to Newcastle Thunder up in the North East. Try scorers for the Rams included Paul Sykes, Michael Knowles, Will Oakes Connor Scott and Martyn Reilly. Paul Sykes kicked all five conversions on the day for the Rams too. Clubs from the Betfred Championship and League 1 met by conference call with the Rugby Football League today to consider the implications of the suspension of the 2020 season enforced by the latest Government guidelines surrounding Covid-19 and social distancing and mass gatherings.
