RFL statement
The RFL will continue to work with those Betfred Championship and League 1 clubs who are keen to return to action earlier than the scheduled start of the 2021 season after an agreement that it is not feasible to arrange a one-off competition this autumn. Initial discussions have already been held about the possibility of amending the format of the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup to allow for a number of rounds of regional group fixtures being played over the winter. Season ticket update
The club has now analysed all the replies we received from season ticket holders regarding the recent email that was circulated asking for feedback on how supporters felt we should deal with the 2020 season ticket issue. We’d like to firstly thank all supporters for responding to it, it is really appreciated. Although the club asked for responses by the 31st August, if you haven’t chosen one of the three options yet please can you respond with your choice to secretary@dewsburyrams.co.uk So far only 40% of season ticket holders has responded and so if you haven’t chosen one of the […]
Reilly leaves Rams
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that Martyn Reilly has left the club and signed for Oldham. Reilly has become a fans favourite and was hugely involved with the club’s community project over the last two seasons the Rampage Club. On leaving the Rams, Reilly said: “I’d just like to thank everyone at Dewsbury Rams for the past 3 seasons, I honestly can say it has been an absolute pleasure to play here! “I’d like to thank Mark for sticking by me through a tough injury and all the coaches and backroom staff and players who kept me positive and pulled me […]

Dewsbury Rams can confirm that winger and fullback Tommy Brierley has moved to Championship side Oldham. The club wishes Tommy all the best of luck in the rest of his career.

Dewsbury Rams can announce that Joe Martin will be part of Lee Greenwood’s 2021 squad. Martin is just the latest player to take up the fullback position and follows in a long list of talented number 1’s at the club. Martin joined Dewsbury in 2019, and scored two tries in his first game against Rochdale Hornets. Since then Martin has gone from strength to strength and is now a regular name on the team sheet.
