Rams host online seminar with community clubs
Dewsbury Rams can reveal that it held an online coaching seminar with community clubs on Wednesday evening. Coaches of all age groups from all our local community clubs. Dewsbury Moor, Dewsbury Celtic, Shaw Cross Sharks, Hanging Heaton, Ossett Tigers, Mirfield Stags and Thornhill Trojans, were invited to take part in an online coaching seminar with Rams head coach Lee Greenwood. Greenwood spoke about a variety of subjects including club culture and training methods. The seminar was a success and it is the club’s intention to hold more of these in the future. Garratt- It’s great to be back
Dewsbury Rams yesterday announced that Tom Garratt will be retained at the Tetley’s Stadium for another year. The big man is ready to get back into the action having taken some time away from the sport for personal reasons. However now he is looking ahead to what he hopes can be a successful 2021 campaign for the club. Garratt said: “It’s great to be back. Garratt is retained at Rams
Dewsbury Rams can reveal that the club has taken the option to retain Tom Garratt for his second season and so will be part of Lee Greenwood’s 2021 man squad. Tom joined at the beginning of the 2019 season. He played fantastically well during that campaign so much so he won forward of the year. After that season Tom took some time away from the pitch for personal reasons. However he is now back and raring to go for the red, amber and black army. Dewsbury Rams Connor Scott started the 2020 season off fantastically well. It was revealed yesterday that he had been retained for the 2021 campaign. Dewsbury Rams can tonight announce that 23 year old winger Davey Dixon is staying at the club for the 2021 campaign. The wide man has performed well in the opportunities he’s been given so far by head coach Lee Greenwood. He’s impressed so much so, Dixon is being retained for the 2021 campaign.
