Our home clash with Batley Bulldogs has been re-arranged to Monday 29th August (19:45) as the game has been selected for Premier Sports. Our final home game of the season which was originally due to be played on Sunday 28th August, has now been re-arranged for Monday 29th August, kick-off 19:45, as it has been selected for broadcasting by Premier Sports TV. This will be the second time this season that the Rams have been selected by Premier Sports, the first coming in February against Widnes Vikings.

Rams suffer heavy defeat at Odsal as Bradford Bulls run in eight tries. A new era started at Odsal for the Rams as new Head Coach Liam Finn took charge of the side for the very first time and gave debuts to three new players who joined the club mid-week, hoping to help the Rams pick up only their third league victory of the season. We are delighted to welcome four new players to the club in time for this weekend’s game against Bradford. Prop Jack Blagbrough has joined us on a deal until the end of the season from neighbours Batley Bulldogs. The twenty-eight-year-old has vast amounts of Championship experience playing for York, Leigh and Sheffield, as well as Batley where he had been since 2020. Also joining us on a short-term loan deal from Featherstone Rovers are Australian duo Bayley Gill and Ben Mathiou. Half-back Gill, 24, joined Featherstone at the start of 2022 from Queensland Cup side Mackay Cutters, whilst Prop Mathiou, […]
SMITH JOINS RAMS
We are today delighted to announce that former Great Britain player and Wakefield Coach Tony Smith has joined the club as Assistant Coach. Tony Smith who had a long and illustrious playing career for the likes of Castleford, Wigan and Hull FC joins the club on a deal until the end of the 2023 season. Smith played at scrum-half for Wigan in their 1998 Super League Grand Final victory and also played at international level representing both Great Britain and England, the latter in the 1995 Rugby League World Cup Final and at the 2000 World Cup.
