After last week’s defeat away at Featherstone the Rams were back at home for their final pre-season fixture, to face Super League side Huddersfield Giants in what were terrible conditions at FLAIR Stadium. REMEMBERING TRACY SUTCLIFFE
Ahead of Sunday’s game against Huddersfield Giants we will be holding a minute’s applause to mark respect and celebrate the life of Tracy Sutcliffe. Along with her husband Andy, Tracy was a huge part of the Rams family and will be missed by all at the club after she sadly lost her battle with cancer earlier this month. Tracy’s funeral will be held on Friday 2nd February at 12:30 at Dewsbury Crematorium, with her wake at Heath Cottage Hotel in Dewsbury. The Amber Ribbon will be running a coach to our 1895 Cup game against Keighley Cougars on Sunday 28th January. This trip is proving to be extremely popular, please book your seat to avoid disappointment. The cost is £10 Amber Ribbon members and £12 for non-members. The draws for Rounds 3 and 4 of the Betfred Challenge Cup will be streamed on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app live from the DCBL Stadium, home of Widnes Vikings, on Monday 29 January, 6.30pm. 22 semi-professional clubs from the Betfred Championship and League One entering the competition at Round 3.
