Featherstone Rovers 46-18 Dewsbury Rams It was a difficult day for the Rams who put in a brave first half display but were ultimately undone by a good Featherstone side in the second half. The Rams got off to a great start when Jode Sheriffe forced the ball over the whitewash in the 9th minute. Paul Sykes converted the extra’s to take the score to 6-0. Morton Reacts to Good Friday Loss
Dewsbury Rams winger Dale Morton says that it was a tough day at the office against Batley on Friday night, but insists that the whole team wants to bounce back stronger than ever against Halifax on Monday. The Rams were defeated 18-10 at Mount Pleasant on Good Friday, and despite Morton getting the visitors off to the perfect start on the eighth minute, they were defeated by the end. Morton who ran ninety metres to score the opening try was pleased to get over the try line, the wingers effort was similar to Rob Worrincy’s try at Rochdale last month. […]
