Dewsbury Rams have signed Tom Garratt for the 2019 season, the prop forward has signed on the dotted line and is the latest winter signing. The 24 year old had spent some time in Super League club Huddersfield Giants academy, and since then has played the majority of his career within the amateur game, particularly boyhood club Siddal. Even though Garratt admits himself moving to the Rams wasn’t in his plans, he is delighted to have signed for the club. Greenwood insists there is work to be done
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood got his first taste of action on the touchline when his side were defeated in the Boxing Day fixture to Batley. The Rams were narrowly defeated 16-10 at Mount Pleasant where the Bulldogs won the Roy Powell trophy. A new head coach and a new look team put in a spirited display particularly in the second half. The traditional Boxing Day match would also see a new look Rams side after many new signings over the close season. Playing down the slope the first half Dewsbury faced a difficult first 10 minutes after having to use two interchanges due to head injuries. The first of these being to Jode Sheriffe, who clashed heads with Dale Morton in the lead up to the first Batley try. New stock for shop
Dewsbury Rams are delighted to inform supporters that the shop has new stock for sale, and the new products are of a high quality. The Rams shop is usually open throughout the week on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am-5pm. Supporters will need to come to the main reception though if they would like to purchase anything. The shop is available for supporters to enter on a match day, before the fixture and normally 30 minutes afterwards. New items in the shop include mugs with club badge on which cost £7 and new Dewsbury Rams pens which cost £4. The […]
