We are delighted to announce that Perry Whiteley has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The thirty-year-old winger, who featured sixteen times for the Rams in 2023, will enter his second season with the club after signing ahead of the 2023 season. He scored ten tries last year, including a four-try-haul against Cornwall RLFC in April. IMG INDICATIVE CLUB GRADING
Following on from yesterday’s IMG indicative club grading announcement we would like to issue the following statement. Rams’ fans will no doubt have seen the RFL release which details the indicative points for all member RL clubs under the new IMG grading system. As can be seen, we have been given a grading of 7.10 points, which placed the club in category “C”. Whilst it provides the club with valuable information and a guide for future advancements, as regards any grade allocated, at this point in time it is just an advisory grade to inform the club to its position, […]
GARSIDE RE-SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Matt Garside has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The thirty-three-year-old second-rower, who featured nineteen times for the Rams in 2023, will enter his second full season with the club after signing from Halifax on a permanent basis at the end of September 2022. He managed five tries in our title-winning campaign including a hat-trick in our final game against Doncaster RLFC. We are delighted to announce that Jacob Hookem has signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-two-one-old half-back, who was most recently on the books at Castleford Tigers has featured for several clubs already in his short career including Hull FC, Whitehaven, Bradford Bulls, Midlands Hurricanes and Castleford. Dewsbury fans will be no stranger to Hookem after his eye-catching performance against the Rams for Midlands Hurricanes at the Alexander Stadium in July. The twenty-two-year-old prop will, who featured sixteen times for the Rams in 2023, will enter his third season with the club after signing from local amateur side Dewsbury Moor in November 2021. Walker is no stranger to the club having followed the Rams as a youngster, with his dad Matt and uncles Patch and James all wearing the famous red, amber and black jersey. MITCHELL TO DEPART RAMS
We can today confirm that Head of Strength & Conditioning Adam Mitchell will be leaving the club after seven years with the Rams. The forty-two-year-old former Keighley, Batley and York player joined the club as Head of Strength & Conditioning in October 2016 from Keighley Cougars and has been a key part of the management team ever since but will now be departing for another role.
