We are delighted to announce that Ronan Dixon has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-six-year-old will stay with the Rams for his second season after joining from York Knights ahead at the end of 2022. HUBY TO DEPART RAMS
We can today confirm that Assistant Coach Craig Huby will be leaving the club to join Liam Finn at Halifax Panthers. The former Wakefield, Castleford and Huddersfield prop joined as an Assistant Coach ahead of the 2023 season after the departure of Tony Smith but will be leaving the club to link up with Finn once again at Halifax. After joining in January, Huby, as part of the management team, successfully guided the club back to the Betfred Championship at the first attempt, winning the Betfred League One title with a game to spare. TWO RAMS VICTORIOUS AT AWARDS NIGHT
Reiss Butterworth and Liam Finn both took home prestigious awards at the Rugby League Awards Night in Manchester. All together there were three Rams up for awards on the evening, held at The Point at Emirates Old Trafford, that celebrated the best of rugby league. Both Paul Sykes and Reiss Butterworth were nominated for Betfred League One Player of the Year, whilst outgoing Head Coach Liam Finn was nominated for Betfred League One Head Coach of the Year. GREENSMITH RE-SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Ollie Greensmith has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-three-year-old will enter his third season with the Rams after joining from Wakefield Trinity, during which time he has made thirty-nine appearances scoring sixteen tries, with nine tries coming in the 2023 title-winning season. We are delighted to announce that Owen Restall has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-eight-year-old, had a fantastic first season in Rams’ colours after joining from Oldham ahead of the 2023 season, ending the year as the club’s top try scorer with sixteen in twenty-two appearances that included three hat-tricks. Upon re-signing Restall said, “The lads, staff and fans have been absolutely class since I’ve arrived here and there’s absolutely no reason why I wouldn’t stay. We are delighted to announce that Louis Collinson has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-one-year-old will enter his second season with the Rams after joining from Batley Bulldogs ahead of the 2023 season. Despite suffering with injury during last season, Collinson still managed eleven appearances, scoring once in our 42-0 victory over Rochdale Hornets.
