The twenty-two-one-old half-back, who was most recently on the books at Castleford Tigers has featured for several clubs already in his short career including Hull FC, Whitehaven, Bradford Bulls, Midlands Hurricanes and Castleford. WALKER RE-SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Jackson Walker has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-two-year-old prop will, who featured sixteen times for the Rams in 2023, will enter his third season with the club after signing from local amateur side Dewsbury Moor in November 2021. Walker is no stranger to the club having followed the Rams as a youngster, with his dad Matt and uncles Patch and James all wearing the famous red, amber and black jersey. TURNER RE-SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Calum Turner has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-four-year-old, who played a starring role in our title winning season at scrum-half, made twenty-one appearances, scoring five tries and kicking twenty-six goals in 2023. After joining in January 2022 after spells with Castleford Tigers, Newcastle Thunder and Featherstone Rovers, Turner will enter his third season with the Rams. BUTTERWORTH TO DEPART FOR SUPER LEAGUE
We can today confirm that Reiss Butterworth has left to join Super League side Hull Kingston Rovers. The 24-year-old has made sixty-two appearances in his three-season stint at the club but will now return to Super League with the East Yorkshire side. After joining from the Huddersfield Giants ahead of the 2021 season, he was made Club Captain at the end of 2022 and this year has led the side to the Betfred League One title, making twenty-two appearances and scoring four tries. We are delighted to announce that Joe Summers has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-three-year-old will enter his second season with the Rams after joining from Hunslet RLFC ahead of the 2023 season. After suffering with injury during last season, Summers only made four appearances, scoring once on his debut against Cornwall at FLAIR Stadium in April. The thirty-three-year-old second-rower, who featured nineteen times for the Rams in 2023, will enter his second full season with the club after signing from Halifax on a permanent basis at the end of September 2022.
