Result: Dewsbury Rams 24-25 Featherstone Rovers
Dewsbury Rams were narrowly beaten by fellow Championship side Featherstone Rovers as a drop goal kick by Dane Chisholm separated the two sides. The Rams battled hard but in the end it was the Rovers who came up with the goods, the Rams head to Batley next weekend. A full match report will follow.

Dewsbury Rams Kyle Trout has today left the club to go to Betfred Super League side Hull KR. The loose forward has been at the Rams for the last two seasons having signed for the club in 2018. The Rams would like to thank the officials at Hull KR including Neil Hudgell and Mike Smith for their handling of this transfer and paying an appropriate transfer fee. Dewsbury Rams were narrowly defeated by fellow Championship side Featherstone Rovers on Sunday afternoon at the Tetley’s Stadium. The Rams lost 24-25 on the day with Dane Chisholm scoring a drop goal to win the game for the Rovers. The Fixture started in a tight fashion and didn’t really get going until the 12th minute when Paul Sykes kicked over a penalty to put the Rams ahead.
