Trout leaves Rams

Dewsbury Rams Kyle Trout has today left the club to go to Betfred Super League side Hull KR. The loose forward has been at the Rams for the last two seasons having signed for the club in 2018.

The Rams would like to thank the officials at Hull KR including Neil Hudgell and Mike Smith for their handling of this transfer and paying an appropriate transfer fee.

Kyle has worked hard on and off the pitch and has been a major influence in the Rampage Club scheme the club has set up this year in which Dewsbury has invited local junior sides to take part in a training session.

On the move to Hull KR head coach Lee Greenwood said: “Kyle has got an opportunity to go to a Super League club. If players come to the club that play for us and then have a chance of moving upwards then great. It means they have done well for playing for Dewsbury and can make the step up to Super League.

“Kyle has been fantastic this season, consistent and has played 80 minutes every week and not taken a backwards step and has improved all round. I wish him all the best of luck for his time at Hull KR.

The club would like to wish Kyle all the best for the future and his time at Hull KR.
