The club recently announced new signing Bayley Liu. The 24 year old centre joins the club for the 2021 campaign. Born in New Zealand and has Samoan heritage, Liu is a fearsome player to face on the pitch. He spoke exclusively to the Rams website about his move to the Tetley’s Stadium. Liu joins Rams
Dewsbury Rams can now reveal their first new signing for the 2021 season. Bayley Liu has signed a one year deal with the club. The New Zealand born and Samoan heritage utility player will join up with Lee Greenwood’s men for the new Betfred Championship season. Standing at 6ft’2inch tall, the proud Samoan is an imposing player on the pitch. A hard running centre who can smash through opponents with ease. Liu played his junior rugby in Australia and New South Wales. He then went to the Central Queensland Capras where he progressed through the age groups from under 16 […]

Day- I’m proud to wear the shirt
Last night Dewsbury Rams announced that hooker Sam Day will be staying on for the second year of his contract. The club and head coach Lee Greenwood are delighted we’ve been able to retain Sam. On him staying at the Rams, Day said: “I’m really proud to wear a rams shirt, I live quite local so I always knew who Dewsbury were when growing up and what a good club it was and still is. “So to be able to be playing another year here is something I’m really looking forward to.” Day had a fantastic 2019 season and was […]

Dewsbury Rams are pleased to confirm they have exercised the 2nd year contract option for Sam Day. Day has now been at the Tetley’s Stadium for four years. Having first joined on loan in 2017. He then signed permanent in 2018. He has since become a vital part of the team and has a strong bond with the Rams faithful living locally. Although Day is small in stature he has the heart of a lion. Crashing into tackles and making his presence felt on the field of play. Dewsbury Rams can announce the re-signing of Michael Knowles for the 2021 season. ‘Knowlsey or Knozza as he’s affectionately known as has been at the club a number of years now and has been an ever present in the team since joining back in 2017. The tough tackling second rower is one of the more experienced players on the field and tends to lead on the pitch through his play.
