Dewsbury Rams yesterday announced the re-signing of James Thornton. The Dewsbury born player first signed for the club at the beginning of 2020. His performances in a Rams shirt but also in a Hull KR reserve and Coventry Bears jersey has meant he’s done enough to earn a new contract with the Rams. The unbelievable work done by the company has helped to capture Jack perfectly and the club would like to thank them for their work. Local lad Thornton stays at hometown club
When local Dewsbury lad James Thornton signed for his hometown club at the start of the 2020 season he called it an honour to wear the shirt. Well Thornton will be just as excited for the 2021 campaign as he’s staying at the club for another season. Gabriel ready for 2021 with Rams
Dewsbury Rams can reveal winger Andy Gabriel has agreed to stay at the club for another 12 months. Gabriel joined the Rams at the start of the 2019 season. He moved from Betfred League one side Keighley Cougars. Whilst at Keighley he became a prominent scorer in England’s third tier and is now showing what he can do on a bigger stage with Dewsbury. Martin- Let’s get the good times rolling
The club recently confirmed the re-signing of fullback Joe Martin. The former Fax man has become a fans favourite as his dependable performances on the pitch have been to a high standard. On him signing a new deal at the Rams, Martin said: “I am really enjoying it, I have had chance to cement a spot and I am grateful for that. I just want to keep working hard and hopefully seeing myself improve.” The Rams started the curtailed 2020 season off well, winning four out of their first six fixtures. Dewsbury Rams are delighted to confirm they have exercised the 2nd year contract option for Adam Ryder. Ryder has performed at a consistently high level for Dewsbury since joining in 2018.
