Gabriel delight at winning Back of the Year Award
Dewsbury Rams winger picked up Back of the Year and he was ecstatic to receive the award on the club’s presentation. Sykes delight on winning Supporters Player of the Year Award
Dewsbury Rams captain Paul Sykes won the Supporters Player of the Year award at the club’s recent presentation night. Sykes insists it was fantastic to finally get his hands on the award. Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood has had his say following Sunday’s defeat to the Widnes Vikings. The Rams went down 22-8 in what was a disappointing last fixture of the season. On the loss he said: “Overall it was poor, there were a few players playing their last game for each club. The kick from the try was pretty crucial before half time because there wasn’t a lot between either team. “It was disappointing but did I expect more than that probably not. Worrincy On Being Top Try Scorer
Dewsbury Rams experienced and speedy winger Rob Worrincy has had time to reflect on the defeat against the Widnes Vikings but also the season as a whole. The former Halifax man has now become the Rams top try scorer this season finishing up on 14 tries, 11 in the league and 3 in the cup competitions. On the result against Widnes, Worrincy said: “The result was a disappointing way to end the season, there was plenty of effort but the end result probably sums up the season. Rams fans forum tomorrow night
Dewsbury Rams would like to remind supporters that their is a fans forum taking place in the Royal Suite tomorrow night from 7.30pm. Chairman Mark Sawyer and head coach Lee Greenwood will be at the front to take any questions you may have. Also on the night supporters will be able to pre-purchase season tickets and there will be complementary pie and peas available at the interval.
