Remembering Mick Hughes: A Rugby Legend and True Warrior
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our former player, Mick Hughes, who left us on 15th January 2025, after a courageous battle with MND, which he was diagnosed with in mid-2024. Mick was born on 19th August 1950. Mick had a distinguished rugby career, playing for several clubs including Hull Kingston Rovers, Hunslet, Wakefield, York, and Dewsbury. He began his playing career with Hull KR in the late 1970s and finished with Dewsbury in the late 1980s. During his time at York, Mick played over 100 games and was part of the team that reached […]

The 2025 Challenge Cup Third Round draw has taken place! If we secure victory in our Second Round match, we’ll face Newcastle Thunder or Batley Bulldogs in the next round. Third Round ties to be played over the weekend of February 8th/9th, 2025. Further information will be given to supporters when available.

25 years ago, on 29th July 2000, at Bury, the Dewsbury Rams etched their name in history with a thrilling victory in the Northern Ford Premiership Final, defeating the Leigh Centurions 13–12. To commemorate this incredible achievement and the successful 2000 season, we are looking to hold various events, culminating in a main celebration on 28th June 2025 at FLAIR stadium.
