Jacob Parkinson is staying with the Rams, after signing a new contract that keeps him here for the 2027 season.
Parkinson was a core part of the team at the start of the season before injuries, playing in our win against the Newcastle Thunder and being one of the five players to score a try during that match.
Parkinson spoke on his signing saying: “This year was cut short due to injury, but I’ve loved my time here,
“I have a point to prove to myself, the fans and the coaches what I’m capable of, and when the opportunity came to re-sign I wanted to take that with both hands, and I’m looking forward to the exciting times ahead.”
Head coach Paul March, also spoke about the signing: “He’s been unlucky with injuries this year, and I’m looking forward to him getting a good pre-season and working on parts of his game that will benefit the team next year.”
Parkinson is just the latest of signings, joining Jacob Bateman, Danny Addy and Bailey O’Connor as the Rams look towards next season.
