Dewsbury Rams are excited to announce a brand new partnership for 2022 that will see iconic rugby league brand Ellgren become the club’s official retail partner.
The Dewsbury based technical sportswear firm will produce match day and training kit, leisurewear and accessories for the club’s 2022 Betfred Championship campaign and provide the club with a unique design and production approach bespoke to the Rams and the club’s traditions.
Ellgren are steeped in history within rugby league and currently work alongside Halifax Panthers and Leigh Centurions. They will add Dewsbury Rams to their impressive list of partnerships.
The Club will hope to host a shirt launch evening in December with more information on the event coming closer to the time.
The kit supplier, situated only minutes away from the ground, is committed to ensuring the club shop includes a diverse range and will also take on the management of online sales as part of the partnership.
Speaking about the brand new partnership, Ellgren Managing Director Jonathan Schofield said: “Ellgren are delighted to partner with Dewsbury Rams to manage all of their technical and performance apparel for the 2022 season.
“Dewsbury is a historic club, with real tradition and a fan base who wear their colours with pride.
“We are very excited to help grow the club’s retail programme with a high quality and varied range of merchandise that will appeal to the loyal Rams supporters.”
Rams chairman Mark Sawyer said: “A lot of work has gone into finalising this agreement with a manufacturer whose name stands out in the rugby league world.
“They will supply a great range of quality products and we are really looking forward to working with them.”
Head coach Lee Greenwood added: “ This is an excellent move by the club. We are one of the oldest clubs and Ellgren are one of the oldest kit suppliers in the game in this country.
“Both of us are wanting to enjoy a resurgence over the coming years and teaming up together gives us the chance to do that.
“I have seen a sneak preview of the on-field and off-field range and I am looking forward to seeing the players and supporters wearing it next year.”
The club would like to place on record its thanks to BSK Pro and Errea who have been the Rams’ main kit supplier over recent years.
