Dewsbury Rams expresses its gratitude to the volunteers who have gone the extra mile to help the club stage home matches during recent weeks.
As the sport transitions back to welcoming supporters back into stadiums, new challenges have been presented to clubs at every level.
Here at Dewsbury, The Working Party donate their time and skill all year round to help keep the ground looking its best, including carrying out the essential maintenance work required ahead of the return of fans.
In more recent weeks, many more fans have stepped up to fulfil many other roles, including ball retrievers, stewards and match day guides.
Dewsbury Rams chairman Mark Sawyer said: “Without this great help of volunteers, Dewsbury Rams could not function.
“There are many who’ve occupied long-standing roles on match days, including stadium announcements, selling raffle tickets and scoreboard updates, and we’re extremely grateful for their support.
“In more recent weeks, the pool of volunteers has grown larger to help keep things moving at the ground, and the club is indebted to these individuals for their help.
“We have a proud record of people helping the club through volunteering. It is an outstanding effort that cannot be underestimated.”
