Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood spoke to the media following our defeat to Halifax.
On the 36-0 loss, Greenwood said: “One of the most disappointing things is that we want to be difficult to beat here at home and over the last few weeks that’s not happened.
“It’s an absolutely huge game next week against Swinton. They are still trying to get their first win and they might be seeing we have a soft underbelly at the moment and they’ll want to exploit that.
“We don’t have loads of cash here so we can’t just go out and buy ready made championship players. We are always having to make championship players with them being brought in from lower leagues.
“This is part of the learning process where you can’t just turn up one week and not the next. We have to coach and teach the players into becoming championship regulars. Some will make it and some won’t. However that won’t stop me trying to improve them as players.
“I hope the players have gone home disappointed and angry at that performance because it wasn’t good enough.
“We now have eight days to fix up the problems and get some bodies back.”
