Rams secure first away victory of the season in Cumbria against Workington Town. Sunday provided a second trip to Workington this season for the Rams who had suffered defeat at Derwent Park in the Challenge Cup back in February. The Rams knew that only a victory against already relegated Workington would keep their slim hopes of survival alive. The Rugby League World Cup National Lottery Trophy Tour will be stopping at the Tetley’s Stadium for Monday’s game against Batley Bulldogs! As the Rugby League World Cup approaches the Men’s, Women’s and Wheelchair Trophies will be making their way around the country stopping at the Tetley’s Stadium on Monday 29th August for our game against Batley Bulldogs. Before the game the trophies will be on display behind the South Stand and after the game the trophies will be in the Royal Suite where the post-match interviews will take place as usual. BUTTERWORTH RE-SIGNS FOR 2023
We are delighted to announce that Reiss Butterworth has re-signed for the Rams for the 2023 season! The 22-year-old Hooker, who has been the stand-in captain over recent weeks has committed to the club for next season as we aim to get promotion back to the Championship. Since signing from Huddersfield Giants ahead of the 2021 season, Butterworth has made thirty-seven appearances, scoring five tries.
