Dewsbury Rams can reveal that loose-forward Sonny Esslemont will be part of Lee Greenwood’s 2021 man squad. The tall 26 year old signed for the club at the start of the 2020 campaign. Dewsbury Rams can confirm that 22 year old winger/centre Joe Wardill has joined the club for the 2021 season. Wardill is a former Super League player having risen through the academy and reserve sides he has played a number of fixtures for Hull KR’s first team. In 2018 Wardill signed a three year deal at Rovers. However just a year later he took the decision to retire from the sport due to having three hip operations. However having recovered and played in some reserve team fixtures, Wardill is now wanting to resume his career at the Rams. The club has […]

Dewsbury Rams have recently announced their second new signing for the 2021 campaign. Jordan Schofield has joined up with head coach Lee Greenwood’s men for next year. The big bustling prop is looking forward to testing himself at Championship level. On joining the club, Schofield said: “I got given this opportunity that is close to home and with such a good history and reputation, it was hard to refuse. “I knew it was a well run club as my ex coach Liam Finn has always spoke highly of Dewsbury.” Schofield didn’t start his rugby career whilst 14 years of age. Dewsbury Rams has secured a deal to bring prop forward Jordan Schofield to the club. The former Eastmoor Dragons youngster has decided to test his metal at Championship level. The big forward has had a good learning experience playing in the Wakefield academy for the last four years. He turns 20 years old on Wednesday. The experienced player has had a few years at the club now, and although there are some people expecting him to retire. The 38 year old feels as fit and as strong as ever and is ready for another tough year in the Championship.
