Rams beaten in second pre-season outing by Featherstone Rovers at Millennium Stadium. Following on from the Boxing Day draw against Batley, the Rams continued their pre-season schedule heading to the Millennium Stadium to face Featherstone Rovers on a bitterly cold January afternoon. HIRD SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Joe Hird has signed on loan for the Rams for 2024 from Sheffield Eagles! The twenty-year-old prop joins us for on-loan from Sheffield Eagles for the 2024 season. Hird joined the South Yorkshire side ahead of the 2023 season, after rising through the ranks at the Leeds Rhinos academy, where he was captain of the reserve side. In 2023, Hird played ten times in total, making appearances for Rochdale and Keighley as well as Sheffield. TRACY SUTCLIFFE – RIP
Everybody at Dewsbury Rams is saddened to hear of the passing of Tracy Sutcliffe, after losing her battle against cancer. Tracy, along with her husband Andy, was a loyal supporter and long-term sponsor of the club. The club and all our supporters send our condolences to all the family at this difficult time. Funeral details to follow once known.
AMBER RIBBON TRAVEL TO KEIGHLEY
The Amber Ribbon will be running a coach to our 1895 Cup game against Keighley Cougars on Sunday 28th January. This trip is proving to be extremely popular, please book your seat to avoid disappointment. The cost is £10 Amber Ribbon members and £12 for non-members.
