We are delighted to announce that Jacob Doyle has joined the Rams for the 2023 season! The twenty-one-year-old, who can play at fullback, centre or wing has joined from Featherstone Rovers, in 2021 he played for Featherstone in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Final at Wembley, scoring twice as they beat York City Knights. He spent last season on loan at Hunslet RLFC featuring nine times last year, scoring six tries. RESTALL JOINS FOR 2023
We are delighted to announce that Owen Restall has joined the Rams for the 2023 season! Twenty-seven-year-old Restall joins us from Oldham RLFC where last year he made twenty-two appearances scoring twenty-one tries. Restall, who operates predominantly at fullback but also on the wing was League One’s third highest try scorer last year, which was some achievement as it was his first season playing professional rugby league after a long amateur career. LOOKING BACK REUNION 2022
The Looking Back Reunion is taking place at the Tetley’s Stadium on Friday 25th November Join the Looking Back Team for refreshments and the chance to reconnect with friends as a celebration of everything rugby league at this year’s reunion! The annual event will be taking place in the Bailey Bar at the Tetley’s Stadium on Friday 25th November between 11:00 – 13:00, it is free to attend and both home and away supporters are welcome. Forward Collinson, who joins us from Batley Bulldogs made eighteen first-team appearances last year for Batley and Cornwall RLFC, where he impressed on-loan. Prior to his move to Batley, he was at the Castleford Tigers Academy where he was awarded the 2021 Academy Players’ Player of the Year Award. GABRIEL RE-SIGNS FOR 2023
We are delighted to announce that Andy Gabriel has re-signed for the Rams for the 2023 season! The twenty-eight-year-old winger who’ll be entering into his fifth season with the Rams has become a firm fan’s favourite during that time, scoring twenty-eight tries in sixty-five appearances. Towards the end of last season Gabriel unfortunately picked up a cruciate ligament injury which will require surgery and keep him out for a significant part of the season as he enters his rehabilitation phase.
