We are delighted to unveil our new Home and Away shirts for the 2023 season. Designed and made by for the second successive year by Ellgren, the home shirt retains the famous red, amber and black, whilst the away shirt sees us wear a grey and green for the first time in the club’s history. Once again, Our Club, Our Community features across the back of the shirt and the inner collar features a nod to the 125th anniversary of Dewsbury RLFC. DIXON JOINS FOR 2023
We are delighted to announce that Ronan Dixon has joined the Rams for the 2023 season! The twenty-five-year-old Prop joins the Rams after leaving York City Knights at the end of last season where he made over one hundred appearances scoring fourteen tries. The former Wakefield Trinity youngster joined York in 2017 and played in their side their League One winning side of 2018 and featured in the Championship Playoffs in 2019 and 2022. AMBER RIBBON PROVIDE NEW GYM EQUIPMENT
The Amber Ribbon provide new equipment for the Players’ Gym! The Amber Ribbon have purchased a brand new Concept2 SkiErg for the Players’ Gym at the Rams Stadium, after working alongside Head Coach Liam Finn and Strength and Conditioning Coach Adam Mitchell to identify equipment needed to upgrade the facilities. Head Coach, Liam Finn said “I’d like to say a big thank you to the Amber Ribbon for buying us the SkiErg, it will be a huge addition for our preparation for the new season and beyond. SOUTH STAND UPDATE
Dewsbury Rams can now offer the following update regarding the South Stand for the 2023 season. In an effort to reduce matchday costs and invest further into the playing budget for this upcoming season, the South Stand and associated areas will be closed for the 2023 season. During the last week we have held discussions with Kirklees Council around the possibility of reducing stewarding numbers for the South Stand in anticipation of reduced occupancy levels for 2023. Unfortunately, we were informed that because the South Stand is a ‘designated stand’ there are specific requirements attached to it, meaning that the […]
COVENTRY JOINS FOR 2023
We are delighted to announce that Jack Coventry has joined the Rams for the 2023 season! As mentioned as last night’s Fans Forum, the twenty-eight-year-old Prop joins the Rams after leaving Oldham RLFC at the end of the 2022 season. Coventry has played for several clubs since making his debut for Featherstone Rovers in 2015 including Hunslet RLFC and Keighley Cougars.
