We are delighted to announce that Luke Littlewood has signed for the Rams for the 2023 season! The twenty-two-year-old who can operate at full-back or half-back has signed on for 2023 after impressing in pre-season, featuring in all of our friendlies. Littlewood came through the Bradford Bulls academy, before joining Rochdale Hornets ahead of the 2021 season, before moving back to the amateur game playing for East Leeds. RAMS BEAT CRUSADERS
Rampant Rams score seven tries in season opening victory against North Wales Crusaders. The Rams travelled to the DCBL Stadium in Widnes for the first Betfred League One fixture of the season against North Wales Crusaders, who performed well in League One in 2022 finishing third at the end of the regular season. The opening ten minutes as expected, were hotly contested with neither side seemingly able to get a foothold in the game until a contentious knock-on decision close to the Rams line gave the Crusaders a scrum, from which Owain Abel scored with Dave Gibbons converting. CHALLENGE CUP SECOND ROUND
Our Challenge Cup Second Round tie against Ashton Bears will be played at FLAIR Stadium on Saturday 25th February. Ashton Bears ARFLC, who are based in Ashton-in-Makerfield, secured their place in the Second Round as they beat British Army Rugby League in the First Round on Saturday afternoon. Although the draw had handed us an away game against the winner of that tie, the game will now be played at FLAIR Stadium with kick-off at 14:00. Ashton Bears play in the North West Mens League Premier Division and won all 18 league games in 2022, but were runners-up last year […]

The thirty-five-year-old has signed on for 2023 after impressing in pre-season, featuring in our final two friendlies against Bradford and Huddersfield. The experienced winger has predominantly played Union throughout his career featuring for Sandal, Coventry, Stourbridge and Sheffield Tigers, whilst also playing for Rugby Union seven’s teams around the world.
