Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood is expecting a tough test up at Whitehaven tonight in the Challenge Cup. The Rams have won three out of their first four games in the season and are wanting to make it four from five tonight up in Cumbria. Pick up points- Dewsbury- 2.30pm (Opposite Timepeice) Mirfield – 2.45pm (Opposite Tesco’s) The coach will set off back straight after the match. Scott: Good feeling to score first try for Rams
Dewsbury Rams prop Connor Scott grabbed his first try for the Rams on Sunday as they beat Oldham at Bower Fold 6-24. On scoring his first try Scott said: “It was a great pass from Finny and there was a big gap there but I managed to get the ball down, it’s good to get off of zero and score my first try for the club.” On the victory overall, Scott praised his teammates defensive efforts and believes it is those efforts that have helped to get the team over the line with another two points.
