Greenwood: A win is a win but it was a chalk and cheese performance
Dewsbury Rams head coach Lee Greenwood was pleased with the win over Swinton on Monday night. However he wants to see a more rounded 80 minute performance going forward. The Rams were victorious on Monday night as they defeated Swinton Lions 20-18 in a nervy ending. Our League to stream ten more Betfred Championship and League 1 fixtures
Our League streaming will continue for selected Betfred Championship and League 1 fixtures over the next two weeks, even though matches are no longer behind closed doors. Six games will be streamed next weekend (May 22-23), and another four on Sunday May 30. All ten matches are available for the same Early Bird price of £4.95 that has applied for Our League pay per view games throughout the 2021 season, going up to £10 on the day of each fixture. Last week I wrote about the fantastic news that training & playing had resumed at all age groups within our local community clubs. Until that magical date of 17th May when people are allowed to be spectators at live sport our clubs cannot publicise their games but I can let you know how their progress is unfolding. Our Dewsbury based National Conference League clubs all played pre season friendlies last Saturday with one of the games being a keenly fought local derby. Supporter update on Batley and Toulouse
Dewsbury Rams can now confirm that the home game with Batley Bulldogs will now be played at some point in July. The date will be confirmed to supporters nearer the time. The club can also confirm that the home game against Toulouse on 13th June will be played at the Tetley’s Stadium. Discussions with the council regarding ticketing for this game have happened. Tickets for the South Stand will go on sale shortly. Tickets for the seated North Stand will be on sale after a policy has been agreed. The club will release information on where and how to buy […]
