Dewsbury Rams can today announce that Lee Greenwood has left his post as Head Coach at the club. Greenwood took over the position of Head Coach at the end of the 2018 season and took charge of sixty-four league and cup games, winning twenty-three. Rams Chairman Mark Sawyer said “I would like to pay tribute to all the hard work that Lee has put in at Dewsbury Rams over the last couple of seasons. Panthers run in thirteen unanswered tries in a difficult evening for the Rams at The Shay. Following on from a narrow defeat in our last game against Barrow Raiders, the Rams were looking to pick up what seemed an unlikely victory on a re-arranged Tuesday night in Halifax against a side, who going into the game, had won their previous seven. Head Coach Lee Greenwood has given his thoughts ahead of tomorrow’s Betfred Championship clash against Halifax Panthers. Reflecting on our defeat last time out against Barrow Raiders, Greenwood said “I think that was a missed opportunity, if we’d had taken some of our chances at the crucial point in the game then we’d have won, instead they took their one chance late and won by a couple of points.” “We obviously lost our half-back before the game and full back after twenty minutes, so we ended up missing two vital components, which obviously had an impact on the day because […]

RAMS SECURE MORRIS LOAN
Dewsbury Rams are pleased to announce the loan signing of Elliot Morris from Halifax Panthers. The 26-year-old forward joins the club on an initial two-week loan deal from Halifax and has featured over a hundred times for the Panthers since his debut in 2016.
