Dewsbury Rams can announce that Rhys Davies has signed a new deal to be part of Lee Greenwood’s 2021 man squad. Rhys joined the club in 2020 after impressing whilst on trial. Although he can play in a number of positions the 24 year old is normally suited to the second-row role. Knowles- I want to finish my career at the Rams
Yesterday the club was able to announce that Michael Knowles had signed a new one year deal at the club. The 33 year old second rower has been at the Rams a number of seasons and he doesn’t see himself leaving the Tetley’s Stadium anytime soon. Dewsbury Rams can announce the re-signing of Michael Knowles for the 2021 season. ‘Knowlsey or Knozza as he’s affectionately known as has been at the club a number of years now and has been an ever present in the team since joining back in 2017. The tough tackling second rower is one of the more experienced players on the field and tends to lead on the pitch through his play. The club recently announced new signing Bayley Liu. The 24 year old centre joins the club for the 2021 campaign. Born in New Zealand and has Samoan heritage, Liu is a fearsome player to face on the pitch. He spoke exclusively to the Rams website about his move to the Tetley’s Stadium. Shaw Cross Sharks hold movie of 1973 Championship final.
Dewsbury Rams would like to let supporters know of an event taking place at local amateur club Shaw Cross Sharks. The Sharks are holding a drive through cinema event on 4th October at their club organised by Nothern Monkey Yorkshire Limited. One of the films to be shown is the fantastic 1973 Championship final that we the Rams won, beating Leeds on the day. It is a final that holds significant relevance for both the Sharks and the Rams.
