2023 PRE-SEASON FIXTURES CONFIRMED
Following Friday’s announcement we can now confirm our 2023 pre-season schedule in full! After three seperate announcements last week, we can now confirm our complete pre-season schedule as we prepare for the new League One season. Our pre-season will get underway with our annual Boxing Day clash against Batley Bulldogs. This year’s battle for the Roy Powell trophy will take place at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium with kick-off at 12:00. RFL STATEMENT – WEST WALES RAIDERS
Dewsbury Rams RLFC will compete in a 10-team competition in 2023 after the withdrawal of West Wales Raiders from Betfred League 1. The revised number of competing teams in rugby league’s third tier was agreed by clubs on Thursday 22nd December. The Raiders, who were based in Llanelli, informed the Rugby Football League (RFL) on Wednesday 21st December that they would be unable to compete in 2023. At a meeting with the RFL on Thursday League 1 clubs, agreed that each team will play eighteen fixtures – nine at home and nine away – and that rounds originally scheduled for […]
