
COVENTRY DEPARTS RAMS
We can today confirm that Jack Coventry has left the club. The twenty-nine-year-old prop joined the club ahead of the 2023 season from Keighley Cougars and made four appearances in our title-winning season. On behalf of everybody at the club we would like to thank Jack for his efforts during his time with the Rams and wish him all the best for the future.

SYKES RE-SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Paul Sykes has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The forty-two-year-old, will enter his 26th season in first-class rugby league, having played over 500 games since making his debut with Bradford Bulls in 1999. Sykes has featured for London Broncos (where he is still the record points scorer), Wakefield Trinity and Featherstone Rovers at club level as well as England and Great Britain. After joining the Rams in 2016, the veteran Sykes has made 170 appearances for the Rams, scoring 1,049 points. In our title-winning 2023 season, he made 19 appearances and scored 191 […]

DAVIES DEPARTS RAMS
We can today confirm that Connor Davies has left the club to join Halifax Panthers. The Wales international second-rower joined the club on a permanent basis in the middle of the 2022 season from Workington Town and made twenty-six appearances in total for the Rams, scoring five tries. On behalf of everybody at the club we would like to thank Connor for his efforts during his time with the Rams and wish him all the best for the future.

CARR RE-SIGNS FOR 2024
We are delighted to announce that Lewis Carr has re-signed for the Rams for 2024! The twenty-three-year-old winger, who made seventeen starts for the Rams in 2023, will enter his fourth season with the club having made forty-seven appearances since joining ahead of the 2021 season. STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING COACH VACANCY
We are currently recruiting for a fully qualified strength and conditioning coach to prepare for and work through the upcoming 2024 Betfred Championship season. Responsible to the Head Coach you will lead on all aspects of physical preparation for the squad. You will be required, in collaboration with the Head Coach, to plan and deliver all strength/power programmes, all speed training and all conditioning training. You will also be required to play a part in any player rehabilitation programmes and the planning and delivery of training sessions. RFL STATEMENT ON 2024 STRUCTURE
Following a meeting of Betfred Championship and League One clubs last month the RFL Board has confirmed the structure for the 2024 season – including a new, expanded format for the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup. The Betfred Championship will continue as a 14-team competition, with the top six teams qualifying for a Play-Off series culminating in a Grand Final to determine the champions. This will be played at the home ground of the team ranked highest during the regular season. Betfred League One will be a nine-club competition, with each side playing 20 matches – 10 at home, and 10 […]
