Grassroots: Hanging Heaton name new head coach
Hanging Heaton have appointed Christopher Brown as their new head coach. Brown will be assisted on the coaching staff by former player Darren Addison. Training ahead of the Green and Golds’ upcoming Pennine League campaign commenced yesterday. Hanging Heaton were League and Cup winners last term and Brown will be tasked with delivering more success in the months ahead. Hayes released from Rams
Billy Hayes has been released from his contract at Dewsbury Rams, The loose-forward/second-rower originally came to the club on loan from Huddersfield Giants before signing permanently on at the Tetley’s Stadium. Hayes made six appearances whilst on loan last year, but has only made one appearances this season. The club would like to wish Hayes all the best in his future career.

Rams loose forward Aaron Brown believes the team is “more than capable” of beating the teams around them and climbing the table during the Super 8s. Dewsbury ended the regular season in ninth.
