Bucket collection for Mose Masoe
Dewsbury Rams can confirm that there will be a bucket collection for Hull KR player Mose Masoe. Mose unfortunately suffered a serious spinal injury in a pre-season friendly against Wakefield and had to be rushed to hospital for an emergency operation. The extent of the injury was so serious that he has had to retire from the game. Everyone at Dewsbury Rams wishes Mose the best of luck in his recovery.

Dewsbury Rams were defeated in their first Betfred Championship fixture of 2020 as they lost 36-10 to the Leigh Centurions. The Rams started the game well and put Leigh under early pressure, and it was the home side who collected the first two points as Paul Sykes kicked over a penalty. It took until the 19th minute for Leigh to score their first points of the evening as Josh Woods managed to slide across the line.
