Dewsbury Rams centre Adam Ryder was ecstatic with the victory over Halifax on Tuesday night at the Shay Stadium. We were underdogs for a lot of people coming here and we’ve proved them wrong. “We have spoken a lot about the change in attitude around the squad, and the only way to show that publicly is on the pitch. Dewsbury Rams were victorious in their second Betfred Championship fixture of the 2020 season when they won away at Halifax on a cold Yorkshire Tuesday night. The Rams were determined to back up their impressive performance on the opening weekend against Leigh Centurions. Lee Greenwood’s men looked focused and ready to play during the warm ups. It was Dewsbury who went ahead in the 4th minute as Paul Sykes kicked over a penalty from 40 meters out after Matty Gee was held down in a tackle, the score was 2-0 to the Rams. Dewsbury Rams supporters the Amber Ribbon are providing travel up to Cumbria as the club prepares to take on Whitehaven in it’s first Challange Cup game of the season.
